How flash & pre-drawn works

Small to large flash designs are already drawn, so there is no consultation and no waiting on sketches. You pick a design, we sort the placement together and you get tattooed. Large pre-drawn designs such as sleeves, backs and torsos do require a consultation and are non repeatable.

New designs go out to my newsletter first, then to the website. Instagram sees very little of it, so the list is the place to be if you want first pick (sign up on home page)

Most flash are repeatable, so if someone else has already had one it is still available to you. A few are marked one of a kind, and those are noted on the design itself. Flash is tattooed as is. Colour palettes can shift and the occasional small element can come out to sit better on you, but the design itself stays as drawn

Pricing

Each design has its own price, listed with it. The price includes the placement it was drawn for and the full sitting, whether the tattoo takes four hours or six. See all Flash here

Some placements take considerably longer than others. If you would like a design somewhere it was not drawn for, send the request anyway and I will let you know what is possible.

Larger pieces are priced for single sittings up to 6 hours. If you know you do better in shorter 3.5hr appointments, choose that on the form and we will plan it that way. A split adds $250 to cover the second studio day, and that is the same whether you plan it in advance or we decide on the day.

If we do not finish because of me, whether I underestimated the piece or I needed additional breaks, there is no second appointment charge

Booking and deposit

A $250 deposit holds your design and your date, and you have 24 hours to send it once you are offered dates. Nothing is held without one.

For full or half day flash the full price of your design + GST is due at your first appointment, whether or not the tattoo is finished that day. If a second appointment is needed, that is $250+ GST, and your deposit comes off the last session.

Large ongoing pre-drawn designs are charged at my regular rates

• Full day- $1,500 up to six hours, stencil and tattoo time included. This is how most large projects are booked

• Half day- $1,000 up to three and a half hours, for smaller pieces.

• GST is not included and will be applied to the total
